It seems these are all in range of each other regarding core to voltage ratio. the 800mHz on 1.0v is a safe voltage set from evga's side as I see it, since it can easily push anywhere from 840-860 on 1.0v.

Hey guys,
I recently bought a Gigabyte GTX 570 OC (GV-N570OC-13I) which is considered an "Ultra Durable" serie, soo I started tweaking around. A thing to note is - I love the stock cooling, needless to say - I use it.
With the stock voltage (0.988V), I was able to push it up to 865MHz on the core and 2240MHz on the mem and it proved stable under 15mins of OCCT rendering along with 1 loop on the OCCT GPU Memtest.
Then, however, I decided no notch things up juust a little.
Using the MSI AB v2.20Beta11, I added 0.012V and reached 1V. It allowed me to bump it further up to 895MHz, linked with the shader clocking at 1790MHz and still 2240MHz on the VRAM (I don't really care much more about it, the bandwidth is far from the bottleneck)

Proof:
338
I even kept my fans at Auto, just because it's not hot enough to strain them extra. Also, a thing to note is, that with my current mobo, the sound card hangs in there about 3-4mm below them. Which, considering my future upgrade, should lower the pressure on the fans and lower the temps even further when they have air to breathe. (On the plus side, it keeps my sound card quite cool biggrin.gif )

So, would you share any opinions about this particular OC - a decent one or just average?
Feel free to ask/criticize/anything - I'm still having a lot to learn. rolleyes.gif

P.S. I topped the 900MHz - 908 to be precise - on the core with 1.013Volts running through. Haven't pushed it up further yet and I'm not planning to in the near future.

From my point of view, then 900mHz at ~1.0v is very promising. I believe you could hit the 1000mHz clock with some patience in stability testing mate thumb.gif

Gratz on the nice lil' overclocker you got yourself there!

Can anyone confirm max safe volts for gtx 570? PNY if that matters?

I think my stock setting is 1.037v, best I can manage at that is 790mhz core. I heard 1.1v is safe, if this true?

Temps arent an issue, im at 39C with 1.037v full load after hours of folding.

A little bump, coming along with the first evening of my voltage tweaking.
So far, I reached this:

338
*this is only one run at these clocks, haven't completed a couple in order to get an average - so I'd expect a tad bit more.

Did a load under Dead Island (no VSync = 99% GPU) with manual fan control at 80%, didn't go above 64C.

So I suppose I'll push the core a bit further tomorrow. smile.gif If anyone has any advice or notes - let me know please.

air or water ?? but still nice clocks thumb.gif

noticed u said 80% fan so on air nice keep an eye on vrm temps as at thease voltiges thay can get hot and get damadged and evan as your gpu is only hitting 64*

your vrm's would be like 80*+

get a laser temp gun and point it at your vrm if it dose not give u vrm temp with gpuz thumb.gif
