You flashed your graphics card bios? I will check that out. I had my card exactly the same as yours, my psu is 600w corsair. I think I probably just have to go full out voltage, but that will induce lots of heat. Will keep on trying lol

ya i used fermi bios editor: http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?p=3838406#post3838406

hm i'm using a 750w, and my gpu is going over the designated amperage on the 12vrail by like 20-30 amps...so i'm not sure if that's bad lol

and actually as long as u unlock ur fan, u should be ok. my 570 hasn't gone over 66c with 950/2300 running unigine heaven.

Nice overclock! What card do you have that allows such a low temp on such high voltage? I obtained similar clocks on 1.1v, but the temp makes me uncomfortable because it almost reaches 80c.
Here's the link to my highest OC. 975 core and 2300 memory @ 1.1v

570 vanilla, and daang! 975/2300 is an amazing overclock! especially on only 1.1v

i did unlock my fan, and ran it at 100% for benchmarks.

and recently i modded, http://www.overclock.net/t/1203528/official-nvidia-gpu-mod-club-aka-the-mod/1900 (bottom of page)

i'm wondering why my card doesn't overheat... cuz on 1.1v u got like 80c, but on 1.175v i get like 64c

Hi all,

I started overclocking my MSI GTX 570 Power-Edition last days. My target was maximum stable clocks for BF3, Unigine Heaven and 3D Mark 2011.

Result:

Clocks: Core: 970; Shader: 1940; Memory: 2300 (4600eff)
Voltage: Core: 1,125V; Memory: +10mV; Auxiliary: +20mV
GPU Temperature: 75°C FurMark stable with MSI Twin Frozr III 60%

Proof:

Kind Regards,

mpeg

Well it usually varies card to card, but most of 570s can do at least 900core with 1.1v.

use these settings and run 3D Mark to see if it's stable.

Core voltage: 1.1 (Max)
Core clock : 900
Mem clock: 1950

If it was stable try to increase core clock by 10 and redo the stress testing and so on....

Just tried to change my SLI setup to 900 Core 1800 Shader and 2000 memory @ 1.1v. Ran 3dmark 11 and the machine shutdown. Have I gone over my limit?
