Currently at 875 core and 2000 memory at 1.1v (OCCT and gaming stable)
At full load, I eventually hit 70* max, usually takes a good while though. Trying to figure out how much OC room I still have to play with. Also, I heard that over clocking the memory doesn't show as much improvement as the core does, is this true? Trying to squeeze every bit out of her for 3D gaming.

Thanks guys.
Well, for everyday use I'd keep it under 85C. But it can take higher.

70C with those clocks and voltage is quite nice. I think you can push it a bit further though. I'm running 875/2050 at 1.05v, with 74C when stresstesting.

And what you heard is true. Overclocking the memory on these cards doesn't seem to translate into too much extra performance.

Welcome to the green side!

That's the voltage you see on most cards. So it's neither good, nor bad

and 1.1v should be plenty... i wouldnt go higher on air, you can probably do 900+ core w/ 1.1v.. i'm at 930 1.088v
I just saw that. Thanks.

Does anyone know why my stock voltage has gone from .987 to .988?

I know it's almost so small of a difference to notice but I WATCHED it blip from .987 to .988 doing nothing. Lol. And now it won't go back down to .987

Black, I am fairly certain the voltage will vary depending on what you're doing. Will raise when gaming, lower when surfing the web, etc.. I wouldn't stress over it.

how loud are your systems when you hit the 80 to 90C heat wave?
So I am running 910/1820/2000 1.1v completely stable through everything, then I bough the indie game Zombie Driver last night and started playing, and the game crashed with my OC on lol, but all my other games like BC2, GTA IV, CS:S, Dead Rising 2 and so on are completely stable for several hours, furmark is also stable for plenty of hours!

How come Zombie Driver crashes then?

There's lots of software out there (MSI Afterburner for instance) that lets you overclock without having to flash your BIOS, and therefore with much fewer risks.

Flashing is only if you want the OC to be permanent. If you are set on wanting to flash your BIOS, here's a guide that covers most of it:

Welcome to the forums btw
Thanks for the link, I successfully flashed my card and that link was was a big help.

I got my card stable at 920/2290 1.088v. Stable in OCCT and gaming. I will get pictures up tomorrow. ^_^

Do you mean 90F heatwave outside, or 90C on the card? It's not THAT loud when loading 88C for me. Fan in the low 60% range. My P182 eats up most of the noise

Not that anyone really cares, but Amazon got some back in stock so a replacement is inbound!

Yeah, that sounds pretty normal. Depends on the airflow in your case, but those temperatures aren't anything to worry about

Wow, that's quite a nice overclock. You should be careful with the memory clock though. Pewpewlazer managed to brick his card using 2300 stable for a couple of weeks as far as I understood. Besides, going from 2000 to 2290 memory won't give you much better performance, which you might see in benchmarks.
