someone offered me 279.00 with the shipping for it should i take the money and run its like 6 months old allready ,1st time trying to OC it LOL
You both need more voltage. you both have great cards. I have two cards one at 0.950 and other 1.013.... Both of my cards get to about 790 on stock they both seem stable at 800 on stock but when I bump the voltage. on both of them they are happy and get better scores in 3Dmarks. I also found they will crash without the extra bump in voltage but they don't crash till hour or two. I think both of your cards could do 900 core easy so dont sell them. Right now to get 850 core on both my cards I have to have 1.025v and 1.075v.... and to get 900 core I have to have 1.088v and 1.100v ... so the Lower voltage card needs much more of a increase in voltage to get stable at higher clocks but still overall needs lower than the other one at 900 core. So really you guys just aren't giving it enough voltage you should see a increase in 3Dmarks if you don't, bump your voltage and run another test.

I just got 2 EVGA GTX 570 SC...but i came to find out i didnt have a big enough PSU to run them in SLI so i ordered a Corsair AX1200. but ive been messing with OCing one of them. and so far ive gotten 875/1750/2000 @ the stock 1.000v.

Seems like its a really good card does this sound normal? i shouldnt need to mess with the Voltage unless its not stable correct. ive run a couple things to stress test it. ran some lvls in Crysis 2, some 3dmarks11 and the OCscanner Stress test i have the heaven one also but havnt ran it much. never had a single crash.

Really wish these had more VRAM also.

So 850w isn't enough for 2 570s? Everywhere I've read 750w was enough to suffice.

Yea i thought so too. but right after i got them i threw them in installed the drivers and when and played some Rift and about an hr into playing the computer would shut off then restart. i went right back in and it did it like 5 mins after getting back in so i figured thats what it was. i think alot of it has to do with the fact that i have a the CPU Overclocked, its got a liquid cooler on it and there quite a few fan in this case. i cant tell how many amps a single 570 is pulling EVGA told me it was 20 amps for these cards. but i swapped cards and ran them by them selves and it never did it again so i know nothings wrong with the cards.

but i am still curious if i need to bump the voltage up or not on these things. 875 core at 1v seems really good i guess if its stable no worries?

what's your stock (mV) on this cards ?
good move with the PSU 750 is bare minimum for SLI ,once you start OC'ing CPU/GPU's it's shopping time for new PSU,best operating range for PSU is 20~80% load anyway

yea i figured this much. my CPU and Memory are overclocked but i managed to dial down the cpu voltage from its stock setting it was at 1.3-1.35 when on Auto ive moved it to 1.25 with everything stable.

and yea if you were running bare min you could get away with it. if i disable one of my HDD and some of my fans it will run but just on the bleeding edge of this PSU.

so the AX1200 im getting should be perfect upgrade.

the 2 570's i got are both at 1.0v stock @850/2000 ended up having to back down i did get some artifacts going on.

if you press reset in afterburner it will tell you what's your stock/default mV
1.0v stock @850/2000 is your OC right ?
EDIT;never mind you got the " SC" edition just bump you v and see if you still will have artifacts ,i would leave mem at 2000 and just play with v and core clock

It seems like the cards with the higher stock vid's run cooler and the ones with the lower vid's run hotter.
