that top 30 you have too run in 1650x1050 so im considering downclocking my memory clock so hopefully I can get higher than a 960 core clock... after all they are 1280mb cards, probably best suited for 1080p, theres a lot less pixesl in 16?0x1050 so it might work...

Well, heres what I ended up with.

Let me know what you think of my OC

967 core clock, 2280 mem clock, 1.213 volts, and my heaven score using settings from heaven top 30 thread.

I have a Noctua NH-D14.
It makes my GTX 570 direct cu ii look small.

BTW my stable GTX 570 clocks are 900mhz/1800mhz/2000mhz at 1.050v
I could probably push my memory clock more but the difference in performance is not much.
I left the core clock at 900mhz because it just felt.....right.
I could push it a little more without increasing the voltage from where it is but the performance gain would not be much and getting way higher clocks would require more voltage.
I like my temps being cool because it keeps the fan quiet.
Never goes above 68C in games at max load.

What is the max voltage recommended for a 900 core clock OC? I thought I was stable at 1.85v but I end up blue screening after an hour of gaming usually.

Should I push it higher? Going up increments of of 5mV, but when should I stop?

I'm sure you mean 1.085v. Up to 1.1v should be no sweat at all for your card, above that is still doable but then you need to start weighing the benefits against the possible risks.

ya I meant 1.085v haha. I want this card to last me a long time, so I was mainly asking to see when you pass the "safe" zone. So, 1.1v it is.

It's just weird, because when I run 3dmark11 everything works fine, no driver crashes, no artifacts...

When I start up Crysis 2, everything maxed out, after 30-45mins my screen goes black which I assume means I should up the voltage.
