still don´t get how you can have that low temps.. can we have a pic of the case?

Hey guys, three questions about my MSI GTX 570 GPU's

1. The voltage shown in MSI Afterburner is far off from what is reported by GPUz/HWMonitor (Afterburner says its 0.036v higher). Which do I trust? I think Afterburner is wrong as with what it says is stock (0.036v lower than stock), almost all my games crash. However, if I get GPUz to show the stock voltage, its fine.

2. How do I get MSI Kombustor to use the 2nd GPU? It seems to use only GPU #1

3. How do I get a higher OC? Im at 1.036v according to Afterburner (1.002v GPUz) and cant cross 830mhz core / 2000mhz Vram. Any tips?

When my house is 70 degrees (which is most of the time) and i run any game, 3dmark, i have never seen more than 59c

The top red one blows air right into my Xigmateks cpu fan, the one on the bottom blows air right UNDERNEATH my 570's fan, i measured it directly before i made the wholes on my case. The lower side grill is open for the gfx card to release the hot air from the side since i saw were the card has its vents. After i did that, i noticed about a 11c drop, i used to be at about 71c on load, which is still good considering im on 1.1v all the time lol. Maybe i got a good card by evga lol.

hehe nicely done
Mine is at 84 sometimes in The Witcher 2.. Which is a lot considering the there are 3x 180mm fans in the bottom of my case...This is the last time im buying a Palit card i think.

i might have gotten lucky with my card from manufacturer, because i have yet to see over 60c on 1.1v on any game.

Is there a way to up the voltage slightly more? Maybe threw my mobo? Cause im still running cold...

@doomlord52 - try reducing your memory clock / vram.. core is more important and the higher you go on memory the more it might limit core, at least thats the case with my card.

Is there any reason why you have to use kombustor? If you want more realistic stability tests, just run some games, heaven benchmark, 3dmark 11.. IMO stuff like kombustor is to aggressive, you won´t see that amount of stress on the cards from any game.

You have to edit the bios on the card.

no like your motherboard has a bios your card also has a bios that needs to be flashed to a custom version that allows for a higher voltage than 1.1.
