It's not the $900 for the 2x580s that EA/Dice are trying to get across, it's the fact that the 580 are a very high-end graphic card. With it being so high, people will want to get a better graphic card than they were originally planning/have to get as close to what EA/Dice says will max the game.

That's my guess

So far I have it including my CPU and top 570 with one 3x120mm rad. As soon as I get a little more cash saved up I am going to get another GPU water block and another 3x120mm rad and completely redo my loop.
