I can get a 60$ headset for christmas and I'm looking at these.

I use them only for fps games

what's your source / soundcard?
what FPS do you play?

by the looks of it its using a usb sound emulator to produce the sounds... is it going to work? not so sure. every guide on ocn says to stay away from usb/3d gimmick headphones due to quality audio output.

most likely they will make music sound like ass, but your games will onyl have mediocre sound quality output. for $60 its not bad i suppose.

it uses analog or usb.

What would you suggest with a 60$ budget then? Stores such as compusa and bestbuy (lol) are preferred since they are local and I currently have no headset so playing fps games is a bit tricky.

I use the onboard xi-fi sound on my motherboard btw. I plan on upgrading to a sound card later when I have the money

I'd appreciate a built in mic as well. I know the hole "you can get better sound quality w/ high end headsets and clipon mic" but that'll be out of the budget.

Local stores are pretty much just best buy and compusa.
