I realize that, that's why I quoted the RELATIVE difference between stock and 4.2 Ghz.

In other words, if power increased by 127 watts, MOST of it came from the CPU (with a small fraction going to the board, and none to peripherials).

I'm confused?

The graphs clearly shows the D14 beating it by 11 degrees in quiet mode, and 10 degrees in normal mode, for overclocked and load. Referring to core temps, which is more important than general CPU.

I bought the D14 from infonec for 74 =) Going to install it tomorrow morning and report back. I will also be picking up the thermalright archon from a local dealer for $50 tomorrow as well. I will be testing the following heat sink:

Zalman CNPS9900max
Noctua D14
Thermalright HR-02
Thermalright Archon
Titan Fenrir

I will post result soon, hopefully wont take me too long.
