Oc Help/ Temps too high?

Ok, so I have my i7-920 (c0) running stable at 100% load but the average core temperature is 85C.

I’m using a push-pull setup with two GT-1850rpms and a Megahalems.

It takes 1.3v to get this thing to 4.0, any help?

I don’t know why the temperatures are so high for 1.3v, also, on CPU-Z it says the voltage is 1.364, why is this?

Thank you to those who help.

Update: On the 5th pass of Prime95 I got a stop0x000124 error, which means it wants more voltage. =(

the reason your voltage is higher under load is because you probably have load line calibration enabled. thats not necessarily a bad thing though. i use llc for my overclocks. however, turning llc off will decrease your temps under load, but the draw back is you will need more vcore to compensate.

edit: also as far as temperature goes, the actual frequency of the cpu has more to do with the temp then the voltage, but both play a roll in temp. another option to decrease your temps would be to disable hyperthreading. that will decrease your load temps by about 10c.
