So i just done a OS reinstall completely wiped clean, boot it all back up and I get:

what the hells going on...its getting slower by the minute!! Any ideas please before I RMA these

It is common as the more you add to it they tend to slow down. Same as you benchmark them they will slow down until you give it time to refresh itself.

I always use hdderase when i format my ssd as it does the best for bringing back the life to its factory state.

Try this and see what it reports for you then. Other then that perhaps the chipset drivers?

Makes me glad I didn't pull the trigger on the Vertex yesterday. It was between that and the Mushkin Enhanced Callisto Deluxe 90GB with the Sandforce controller and I ordered the Mushkin. Good luck though, I hope you get it straightened out.

Have you tried another ssd benchmark besides crystalmark? I really like ATTO a lot better then crystalmark for results. Run this and see if you get a different number between the two.
