TF2 Update - Page 2

I've mostly lost faith. I don't recommend people to START playing TF2 anymore; it's now just a game for the people who already owned it.

My faith may slowly restore on the day they actually REMOVE one or two items, stating "You know what? We don't need these." I loved it when they did that for Day of Defeat: Source (reducing available classes, weapons from the original) I loved it when they did it for Starcraft 2 (removing units that no one used, even when all the resources were there)

TF2 has just stopped bothering with checking themselves. They now just seem to throw in whatever seems vaguely cool.

Meh, what's wrong with having a bunch of items?

They don't break the game, and are more balanced than the original class updates. The only thing it has lost for me is the uniqueness. Hats and items galore make each individual one less interesting. But who cares, I rock vanilla 90% of the time, and hats ARE interesting additions.

And I still have a lot of fun playing, and I would still recommend it as top notch multiplayer fun. I honestly don't get a lot of the moaning about TF2, it seems like a lot of people are looking for excuses to say "I played it when it was cool, it sucks now".

I like it as much or more than when I started playing before any class updates or game modes.
