Fan filters?

I was just wondering if anyone has any experience with these:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...scrollFullInfo

Do you think they would fit the front fans of my Antec 900? It looks like a pretty tight space..

They will probably work if you can fit fans there. If not you can always go with the old standby, panty hose.

I'm using one currently. on the bottom of the case, it's mounted on the outside of the case, pretty good but it's not going to be as good as panty hose

For the front of the Antec 900 I recommend these:

http://www.frozencpu.com/products/88...c_Chassis.html

I have two of these on the front, and one on my side panel and they work awesomely! Keeps my case a lot cleaner, and doesn't restrict airflow at all, IMO. The other good thing is since they stay on magnetically, they are easy to take off/put on for cleaning.

THIS

although they are a very fine mesh, it's a tradeoff between a clean case maximum airflow.

It doesn't seem as though my airflow has decreased at all. I'll have to do a test once I have my rig running for a while with them on, then I'll take them off and see if I get a decrease in temps.

I know this is a very old thread. But I'm currently thinking about buying those fan filters you got. Did they in fact decrease your air flow?
