My CPU has locked multi, so i OCed with increase in ref clock. I tried to set it to 240, so i would have 3.6Ghz CPU - PC booted normally, but prime95 showed rounding error - ( but not BSOD ) almost instantly. So i through - maybe it is my memory? I set my memory to 667 Mhz mode , so combined with FSB increase it run on stock speed. Still got the same errors. I also tried to lower my HT multi so HT clock was close to stock but that didn't help.
Modest increase in voltage ( from 1.34 to 1.3625 ) also changed nothing.
Edit: After re-reading my post i realized that it sounds like, i just jumped straight to 240 from stock 200. In fact i had before ( and now ) stable OC at 230, so i through i could push a little more.Edited by sergeym - 12/18/10 at 2:56am
