GTX 570 was abit faster in the benchmarks ive seen, and its drivers are better

I'd just look around for the best deal or bundle on either. I highly doubt you'd be able to tell the difference between them. If your choise is simply between those 2 at the same price, I'd go with the MSI simply because I hate nontransferable warranties. It'll make it easier when you sell it.

570 is cheaper, just as fast or faster, and has better drivers. It's a no brainer.

I am a fan of amd and want them to last in spirit of competition but this right here is the truth.

but if its just 580 vs 6970 id do 6970 as its cheaper ofc. Its gunna burn any game u choose so ya.

570 is cheaper, and it's faster, and higher oc %, and better drivers, and quieter, and less power, and evga & asus vs powercolor & xfx

6970 is 11% faster at 2560x1600 with AA enabled however at 1920x1200 and lower the 570 is more or less equal or faster. So if you have the 30" monitor then the 6970 is the better choice however the 570 is better everywhere else.
