Is it possible that my PSU is causing my problems?

Is it possible that my PSU is causing startup problems? This is not for the computer specs below but it is for my 7 year old computer that was working fine until the PSU didn't work. I then changed the PSU to a Rosewill one or something like that. It could not start up ( Nothing on screen but fans are turning and stuff) with the Rosewill one as well. I have a feeling that this is a PSU problem and so should i take out the PSU from my current build to power this computer and try? Its kind of troublesome so i want to check Thanks!

In some instances I have seen PSU die and take many other things with it. You might need to do some in depth hardware testing. (memtest/hyperpi)

Go out and buy yourself a new Antec, Seasonic or Corsair (in that order) to power your machine, you will not regret stable power.
