wow this monitor actually looks very good. I was considering something a lot more expensive but I just might get this myself. My friend has a LED-LCD and it looks amazing. I think he is kinda crazy because his is 37" which in front of your face is way tooo big. This seems perfect. Especially for the price.

If you want to go for something that size, and you have the money, I'd suggest going for a higher resolution. I don't think you'd be unhappy with that size and resolution, but if you can go better, you should

25.5" @ 1920x1200

Don't try to define 1920x1200 as "better". It's always argued both ways, vs 1080P

Err...higher resolution = more screen real estate. I guess "better" is opinion based on this, but that's all I meant.

My 27" Samsung is 1920x1080. It was an open box special on Newegg for pretty cheap, otherwise I wouldn't have bought it The led backlight is nice, and it looks better than either my 21.5" or 23.6" Asus. Things on a 1920x1200 will look smaller than on a 1920x1080, which should mean better detail.

Like I said in my first post, I'm sure you'll be happy with the 1920x1080 27", I'm just suggesting you go for a higher resolution if you can, that's all.
