Thread Starter
I have a buyer for my CPU/mobo/ram/cooler/video card in my sig
I am lookin into this build for an upgrade
Please feel free to comments on the setup

i7 970 from Edge
Asus Sabertooth x58
Kingston HyperX 1600 3X2GB
Corsair H70
Corsair HX750
eVGA GTX580 SuperClocked

My main conerns are (aimming for 4.0~4.2Ghz)

1. At similar price I will be better off with Sabertooth or P6X58D-E?

2. H70 will be too much or I would be totally fine with H50?

3. The shop providing me with the parts has only HyperX and Cosair XMS3 left. With same timing, which will be better?

4. If I am not mistaken, the new Sandy Bridge is no better than the 970 while I understand it is not meant to replace the 1366.

5. 4.0Ghz~4.2ghz should be pretty easy to obtain for 970, correct? Coming from a i5 750, it is the most easy oc, I have ever encountered.

Thanks for any comments in advance!
