hi friends
i decided to change my mainboard because it is old for my cpu and i need DDR3 Modules and USB 3.0

my question is does these two brands really worth for 200$ diffrence in the price?

i mean that does it really worth to buy gigabyte for 200$ more or not?

what is the diffrence between these two motherboards?

What's the biostar model you want to look at and is it vs your Ga-MA78G-DS3H or a different gigabyte mobo?

Are you talking about the biostar 890FX and a giga-byte 890FX?

The Biostar TA890FXE does not have USB 3.0. Think you should know that.

Both boards would serve your PII 965 very well, so in the end, it all depends on whether or not you think the extra features on the Gigabyte 890FXA-UD5 are worth the extra money over the Biostar TA890FXE.

Well, the Biostar has troubles with 4 way Xfire or even 3 way because over 2 way Xfire will require 1 single slot card/watercooled card.

Other than that, they are pretty much the same. Biostar support may be a little weaker, but nothing unusable.

You don't need the UD7. It probably won't fit in your case anyway. Just get the UD5 and save yourself some cash.
