Messed up, I know. I need some more settings to try. Please post them like this for example:

Quote:
CPU Multiplier: x14.0
CPU Voltage: 1.xx v
DRAM Voltage: 1.xx v
etc. It'd be more easier for me. Thanks.

Try this for 4.4GHz
FSB.............237
Multi............18.5
CPU/NB.........30xx
HT Link.........21xx
RAM.............15xx
CPU Volt.......1.50V(might need higher; I needed 1.5375V)
CPU/NB volt...1.325V
RAM Volt.......check RAM sticker

Again. Your H70 might be unable to keep your CPU cool at that clock

There is no such thing as a set of standard settings for 4.0 all and I mean all CPU's are different.

OK, I tried that and was able to boot into Windows at 4.43GHz. Then it gave me a "DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL" BSOD. Tried again, still wouldn't stay at a stable state. I know for a fact I have not reached my max OC, since I've pushed this CPU upto 5.8GHz...I just don't remember the settings I used.

1.5v has a RED color to it also.

Then how do you think I was able to get into Windows at 5.81GHz? I'd love to hear it. I know because I've done it.

is there anything inherently bad with just upping the multiplier to 20 and V to 1.4 and calling it a day?
