Overclocking AMD Phenom II X6 1090T BE - Page 4

Look here at my 4.4ghz OC. For one you will need more Cpu voltage. 2nd try 220FSB. i left all voltages stock but the CPU. Also your H70 will not cool it enough at 4.4ghz. I have been able to boot at 4.75GHZ on mine but cant keep it cool. I have been running mine at 250FSB and 4.25GHZ 24/7.

??? i would maybe belive 4.81ghz....5.81ghz...is talking giberish. if you dont have proof...then it never happens. everyone is here to help. but when i hear something like that...its makes me laugh and not particapate. sorry...not trying to be mean but just keeping it real. =) to achieve 5.8ghz..you need phase change or LN2.

I tried again today, but it loads Windows then BSODs immediately. The CPU voltage I used is just under I think 1.49v or something. I'll try 1.50v later. My RAM volt (on sticker) is 1.8v, and it's stock voltage is 1.58 or something. Close to 1.6v. What should I enter for the DRAM Voltage in this case?

leave yoru rams at stock and on the lowest speed possible. try 1066 and see if you can boot into windows at 4.4ghz. if you can start wrokign your way upwards. for a 4.4ghz overclock..you will need at least 1.55votls and up to 1.6volts. heres a chart of the average user. http://www.maxxpi.net/pages/info-des...fic-clocks.php
set your cpu-nb to at 2000ghz to start with and work your way up untill you can boot into windows. you will mostly need at least 1.35volts to 1.45volts if anything. mix in a little fsb(ht) with a lower muliplier usually hence better stablilty rather then just upping up the mulplier while the ht is at stock 200. keep your temps low as you can. 55c is recommend or even 50c if you can. if you cant achieve those temps then dont even bother with 4.4ghz being stable. maybe benching only. make sure you enable LLC for the cpu and the cpu-nb and disable spred spectrum and c1e and cool and quiet.

Yeah, I couldn't stablize it at that setting. I'll try again later. Fornow, I've reverted back to the stock BIOS defaults to play some GTA IV.

Once again, I thank and appreciate all of your help!
