Mum's given me permission for a new phone for X'mas ~~she always gave me her old crap phones

thing is, I"ll have to look for 2nd hand ones
and I've found quite a few

any ideas on what should I get? I"ll update the list as I go along browsing local forums in my area for 2nd hand phones

heres my list so far:

-HTC Desire
-HTC Hero
- HTC Smart
- HTC Touch Diamond
-Samsung Galaxy S I9000

Desire, is about a year old, 1ghz and 2.2 newest OS of android vs 2.3 which just came out. It's nice but old now compare to the i9000

Hero, Smart, Touch diamond are wayy to old, unless you are on a super budget. If you were to get one of these (not saying they are crap) I would just stick with your mom's old phone xD

Galaxy S would be my personal choice out of the rest. I have this phone myself and it's superb. Fast, large excellent screen. Very customizable to your liking.

I will explain in detail more. Though the galaxy s is like the window's 7 if you get me.
