How much better than the vertex 2 is that C300?

They only offer USPS express as shipping to brazil, which is 55USD by itself and that also means I've got a 90% chance of being taxed by 60% of the whole value...

But I already think that a vertex 2 is already fast enought.
I would like to buy another model for the same price if it was a little slower, or the same speed, but with a bigger capacity

If it is that much more it probably wouldn't be worth it. Why do you get taxed so much and have to pay a ton for shipping just because it is Brazil. Geez.

All of the ones Gman mentioned except for the C300 are the exact same thing with just different stickers. So if you find another one of those for cheaper dont hesitate to buy that one.

any option with more storage capacity?

I like buying on ebay because I can ask them to do some things to avoid getting taxed.
The government tax us because the government is no more than a much of educated fools, ignorants..

That is the US as well.

You are paying in some cases $50 more for the SSD on Ebay than Newegg. I don't know what the taxes are, but I would hope it's not $50.

I know don't know your price point or anything...especially when it comes to taxes and shipping :/

My credit card has only a 500 Brazilian real limit, that would be something like 270USD
I wanna save a little (like 10 to 30 bucks) to buy steam games, because I'm pretty sure there will be those sweet promotions available on the 25th

Most governaments are stupid, but I need to correct something, not everyone there is, but the people responsible to these custom laws certanly are...
The reason to tax an incoming iten anywhere in the world is to protect local brands or the local industry. The thing that makes me try (and success) not to pay taxes for computer hardware is because there is no brazilian brand or local industry for it... so.. what market are they protecting? - THis is the excuse I use to keep my consciense clean

Yea, do that or find the C300. If the C300 isn't too much more it will be worth it!
