That thing looks awesome! wonder what the price on something like this would be? If its way up there I'll stick with my good ol nes mod.

To those talking about how slow it is- my roomate and I did an NES mod with basically the same hardware- Dual core atom, ION2, etc. It works just fine.. and it can play 1080p. Games (besides out emulate NES games- with working controllers!) kind of fail... but the ION is amazing at decoding video when it is configured properly.

.nikon- NES mod? Awesome! What do you have yours set up with?
(We have Linux running XBMC, with USB adapters for the controller ports so we can use original unmodded controllers. Oh and nothing looks tampered with except we added a basically unnoticable- and stock looking- IR reciever to the front so we could use an IR remote)

A dual core Atom should handle WLM and Firefox no problems.

Will play older games and some newer ones on low settings, and SNES/Neo-Geo etc.. emulators with no hitches, but that being said, I don't understand why they didn't use a better processor/GPU. i3 and at least 335m.

The included C64 emulator should be fun. For all of about 23 seconds.

Still..... Win cheers.gif

Mine lagged like crazy, I think it was due to the lack of OoP in the Atom architecture.

What were your complete specs? I know under Win7 I got better performance than XP on anything that could have been rendered by a GPU (flash/videos/etc.).

Mine was a 1.74GHz N270, 1GB.

1.6Ghz N270, 512MB RAM, but I was running Damn Small Linux that runs perfectly fine on a P3 that a friend asked me to put it on, the only limit was the CPU. (Around half of the RAM was free, it runs from the RAM and not the HDD so there was no bottleneck there, aMSN and Firefox aren't really taxing on the GPU, etc)
