MSI 790GX-G65 problem

Thread Starter
Ok, so I FINALLY got all of my parts in the mail, after almost 2 weeks of waiting on slow shipments. Assembled everything, and I get a black screen with no post, and no beeps.

The monitor is fine, I am currently using it.

Mobo is an MSI 790GX-G65.
4 gigs of Ballistix Tracer (2x2gb)
Athlon X4 2.6 with stock heatsink
Diablotek DA 600 watt PSU

Running on-board graphics with a VGA.

What I've tried:

Removing all components, leaving just the CPU, monitor and keyboard plugged in.

Changed ram slots with both sticks, and just one.

Stared menacingly at it for at least 30 minutes total.

And last but not least... A lot of swearing...

I'm at a loss. Looking around Google hasn't helped much at all. Most solutions to this issue are a missed power connector or something along those lines. I've checked all of my connections several times. Not sure what else to do...

Try clearing CMOS. And make sure a USB header from case isn't plugged into a firewire header.
