g15 lcd

I'm doing my mod and i thought i'd ask here since more ppl have a g15 than GH. my g15 is all pcb now, when i connect it to my computer, it powers up all lcds are on and i see the g15 logo on the lcd. Then when i want a response from the g15 (like menu or something) I see nothing. latest drivers are loaded, but tbh i've never used a g15 b4 i just got it, tested out all the buttons then stripped it.
So my lcd isn't burnt out, it still powers on and says G15 in bright orange/red everytime it powers on but i get no feedback.
Is there somewhere in the program or the drivers i have to go to "force" it to display something?
for instance i can't even get the stopwatch function to work or show up on the lcd.

I think you should post up on a exact g15mods forum like this one : http://www.g15mods.com/forum/ , they can give you the right help.

Good Luck !

Did you plug in the little ribbon cable properly on reassembly? It' either that you;ve left it unplugged/missed a pin or you've damaged the ribbon cable which is very easy to do. I've taken my V1 g15 apart a few times and that's the one thing I always panic over, ripping the ribbon cable.

Look in software if "display items" are selected. Tho it should be by default.

the g15v2 connections are pretty solid imo and i've connected everything basically using the shove in till it don't go in no more method.
