Looks liek i will be selling the GTX580 for 500$ and get the 2 x HD 6950 for a bit more.

Scaling is just :OOOO. Whatever people may say, these cards don't consume all that much power and you can run 6950 CF on a decent 650W unit

Not sure about the US prices but here 2 6950s are only about £50 or £60 more than a 580 and the performance is definately worth it.
Powertune just lowers power by 20% if you want, or you can raise it by 20% for more overclocking headroom. These cards are not all that bad at all man. I've hit 890 core and 1450 memory so far and gonna try higher core tomorrow. But this card goes back on monday, dead 2nd dvi port

I got enough power for 3 which i might do later 2-3 months. Also for some reason Nvidia is not my thing. Ati plays much better for me. Probably because i used them for 3 years strait.

Well for most part yeas but right now in Metro i have to lower setting and thats with a 500$ card. Also if i get HD 6950s i can later go Tri-Fire which i would love to try. With GTX580s i can never really do it cause they are very expensive and will be for long time till next gen.

You can only go so far with afterburner

I'm just about to put this baby under some water too.

yeah sorry dude i just got 875/1400 with 10.12a drivers stable in stone giant benchmark .. avg 80fps @ 1920x1080 medium tesselation settings .

anything over 875 will just crash the drivers =( voltage increase would be nice , this card could be a beast it just feels restricted .. my old 5770 and 5850 would clock fine to 1ghz but this one wont . The 6950 stock is still faster than the 5850 overclocked to 950/1350 i used to avg 60fps in stone giant using the same settings so thats a nice 20 fps increase but i cant wait to get more out of this card =)
