I should have no worries maxing out BF3 in 1080p with 2x6950 2GB's right? I know we don't have final system requirements yet, but it seems to be well-optimized. I keep hearing Nvidia is better with tessellation, but are we talking a difference of a couple FPS or a drastic performance gap?

Try disabling your display group and benching with a single monitor (I know it can be a pita but you should have the option to re-enable your group later so long as you don't uninstall/reinstall drivers). I had the same problem with eyefinity. It's as if benchmarks appear windowed to the system at extreme resolutions and crossfire won't kick in.
Although I have to admit... I removed one of my cards that was starting to die... artifacting and bsod's... so I'm not sure if it was just a flaky card the whole time or something else. I thought I read somewhere that you had to rma one of your new cards so I assume you've tested them all individually.

I have disabled the Eyefinity group and went as far as disconnecting the other displays. I just finished installing some benchmarks so we'll see what happens. Yes, I bough three cards initially and one of them was bad. Eventually it was replaced with another 6950. I did test all cards individually and the all did fine. At first, I was getting 70 fps in metro where my old nvidia setup got 89. Others with the same setup are getting 90-100. I have already changed my mb for another new one and i have a new cpu as well. Ill continue testing this week. I feel that triple crossfire is just working against me, especially the drivers. I'm exploring other options if this does not work out. On their own, each cards rocks, in triple and eyefinity (if I can get it to work first) they play my games far better than my old nvidia setup, but I want to run my benchmarks and that's where everything goes down the toilet.

11.7 comes out next week. Finally, I might be able to play Crysis 2 now. lol

I think, considering how much these cards cost, that the manufacturers should do a way better job making sure things like benchmarks work. Makes one wonder about spending this much money on a hobby like this if the hardware or drivers don't operate the way they should.

Cap 3 out today .. doesn't do anything for C2 .. infact, it goes as far so as to disable CFX for a number of titles :
HERE
New profiles added with this release:
Medieval 2 Total War: New CrossFire Profile
Drakensang: The River of Time: New CrossFire Profile
Sanctum: New CrossFire profile
Shogun 2: Forced on Anti-Aliasing through the Catalyst Control Center has been disabled
Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine: Forced on Anti-Aliasing through the Catalyst Control Center has been disabled
WinDVD: Forced on Anti-Aliasing through the Catalyst Control Center has been disabled
Men of War: Assault Squad: Disables CrossFire support
Age of Empires Online: Disables CrossFire support

More from the catalyst creator guy :
For Crysis 2 - make sure the PostMSAA setting is removed from the games autoexec.conf file - it's causing bad CF scaling

Well, according to AMD's Andrew D aka Catalyst Creator, Crysis 2 is going to take some time to find optimizations so I'd imagine that it will be in a driver version and not a CAPS.

For the most part they disabled Crossfire in games that don't even require it most likely because they use a pretty inefficient and poorly coded engine.

Reformat helped and most benchmarks are what I'm expecting. Only exception is metro, so I'm just going to give up on that. I can't use Afterburner since it will bsod as its unlocked. I downloaded Sapphire Trixx. They have an option to disable ulps and my 3dmarks11 score jumped up a 900 points . I find Trixx to be very easy and straight forward like AB but it actually works Time to start oc'ing w/ Trixx.
