Max benchable is 1075c/1550m(6200 Effective) w/ 1.265v. My 24/7 is 1025c/1500m(6000 Effective) w/ 1.20v.

Could probably go a lot higher on the memory but so far it has shown no improvements and has seemingly limited my core clock from going higher. I plan to try 1.1GHz once I can drop my ambients a little bit more since its blazing hot here lol

Max temp at my 24/7 clock is 42-44C and 1075c/1550m runs about 48-49C load.

I know , u told me about ur temps before.. amazing stuff!!
Anyhow .. whats with that vram ?? why can mine do 1625 :@ :@
It's blinking stupid is what

I thought that the only redemption for the 256bit bus lane was higher clocks ?
I suppose It's like ram could never get fast enough...

Question : lower temps = higher OC ??? Till what point ?? I get that the phenoms like <50C .. what do these cards like ?? You're already <50C

I could probably do 1650 if I wanted but as said it doesn't give really any boost lol.. Not to mention I can increase my VRAM's voltage if I wanted. The VRAM is pretty much the last on my list to overclock since as I said, it gives no significant boost being my resolution is still that of a single monitor.

Why don't ya For what I've heard ... The 6950's are fitted with 1600MHz vram , underclocked and undervolted !! WhOOhOOo , and i hit it with a bit of overvolting ..
From what I remember , +10% VOltage on RAM is within the JDEC spec. and we're overclockers...
Still ...
+30mV ( the max AF lets you go) on even 1.3V for the vram is what.. ?? 1.33V ?? How safe is that?? xD
Come on.. I went from 1250MHz to 1625MHz
And you have a golden card ( it's quite literally golden )

Think about it .. the gpu calls for some data.. a faster vram part meansa faster delivery of that data?? So that way... faster vram == faster processing always?? Except for , ofcourse, when the vram becomes as fast as GPU cache.. but thats light years from happening .. cache is here to stay..

As said, tested in games it gives maybe 1-2 fps which isn't much and seemingly limits my core clock somehow. The core clock should be the main focus before anything

Has anyone seen an increase in CPU usage whilst running 11.6b drivers? Yes that is not a typo....CPU....

Your temps are very low (not even 50).

OC the core clock, maybe 1,1ghz~1,2ghz.

Giv'em 1.3v!
