Hi guys. I was just doing some stress testing again with my card. Again thankfully no crashes to report

I always run furmark on the "extreme burn in setting" but today I decided to run the default test and experienced maybe some artifacts?

Could anybody verify is this normal or not?

Thanks man for all your help.

This is my last question (I promise ) Is it normal to get screen tearing during some of the tests?

I wouldn't call it stutter, if you stare at it real close it looks like the pixels are blinking and playing tricks on your eyes. I don't know how to describe it, like if you look at the sun longer than you need to, well you know what I mean

I tried every single driver combination for my 6990. 11.9, 11.10 v 1 to 3, with all 3 caps. I even tried the new "leaked" cap 4. I used the ati uninstaller tool to remove drivers. Still, the game refuses to make use of crossfire. Crossfire works fine in games like Crysis 2, but Battlefield 3 will not work. I also get the freezing problem on booting the game some times. A crash. 11.9 works without crashes for the most part but will not utilize the crossfire. Anything else I should try?

Are 6990m owners allowed in? I know this is technically a 6870, but it's still top of the line for it's size!

I tried those as well. Anything 11.10 and up will almost always freeze the game on bootup, during the EA/DICE logos. 11.9 will go in the menus but changing settings for the graphics will sometimes cause a crash and plus crosswire was still not being enabled..
