Been seeing a lot of questions about unlocked 6950 voltage's/oc/heat but what is the 6970 doing normally at safe temperatures/stability with voltage control?

The 6950 and 6970 have the same cooler.
Unlocking it shouldn't cause any heat issues.

The default core voltage of the 6970 is 1.175v.

I just want to mention how crappy the 6970 overclocks.
Feeding the core more voltage does little to nothing (these cards can take temps up to 100c).

Likewise.
Why even include voltage control if it's this bad.

Yes you must do it with AB6 beta.
I mean only not to change power control in CCC.
If you use the above method to have voltage control on flashed 6950 and still have power control at anything other than 0% you will get BSOD at best.
thanks for the help.
