Agreed - I thought I had a killer flashed 6950 when it was stable up to 1025 @ 1.3 V in various Futuremark, Haven & Furmark but crashed hard after a few mins in Crysis MW:LL. Settled on 1 GHz @ 1.28 V / 1450 mem for stability - still really happy though!

the maximum temp for the 6950 using the AB beta is 1.3v which should be fine.
i'm currently running at 1.3v 24/7 with no problems and temps below 60c @ 70% fan on load

Ahoy- I've been out of the pc overclocking scene for some time... but I saw the 6950 results and decided: **** it, who needs a social life.

VisionTek 6950 2GB (flashed to OEM ATI 6970 bios)
My ongoing results. Stable OC: 900 core / 1470 mem

Running through threads w/ a bit of a buzz on trying to figure out how to increase my voltage on this sucker. Tried editing some files in afterburner, but to no avail. GPU-Z is reading 1.175V max.

Going to drink more and 'attempt' to research further. Here are some quick snapshpts of the gpu in my case from a ****ty sidekick phone.

If I was at that fan speed, I wouldn't even be able to hear my own music at full blast -_-.

you need better headphones? its sitting right next to me. for the most part fan speed stays around 50-60%, only jumps to 70-90 when i'm benching.
