d link 4500 xtreme

Thread Starter
I have just upgraded routers to a d link 4500 xtreme and I have tried to put the 802.11 Band to 5ghz, but when I do and save settings I dont get a wireless signal. Is there a way to fix this or do I just have to stay at 2.4ghz?

Depends. If all your wireless cards support 5Ghz. Then set it to 5Ghz. If not, then 2.4Ghz.

thanks for the help. I realized that not all 802.11n cards can use the 5Ghz band.
