[STEAM] Video Driver update service?

It seems now Steam can keep your video drivers up to date just like the games. Do you think it is a good idea to let Steam do this?

Actually they don't install it for you.. it only directs you where to get them it's fine as long you manually install it yourself.

well...
Steam asked if I wanted to update my video drivers, I said sure, it downloaded them and then ATI started the install automatically.

Yes, Steam started updating video drivers a few months ago.

i think it's a good idea.

one less thing to keep track of. if only they did so on nVidia (automatic installs that is)
