MX518 or G500 - Page 2

The mx518 is great the only drawback is that sweat builds up and the rubber looks dirty/peals off.Still I'd probably take the mx518 over pretty much any mouse.

I'm not an owner of either but I can tell you that the best Crysis Wars player in the world claims to use an MX-518 and I've seen a guy go 100-0 in a match using the G500.

You probably can't go wrong with either.

Thread Starter
I went to best buy to feel the g500 and i didnt like it. The bumps felt odd.

I was able to find an old mx510 so i fixed my button problem by using the top of the 510 and the guts of the 518. Ill stick to this for now as i search for a better mouse for me. I wish more places let you feel the mouse. I just dont like ordering new stuff like that on the net i guess.

Thanks for the help

+1

G500 Extras:
1) Optional hyper scroll
2) On board memory
3) Grip
4) Weights (useless because the mouse is heavy already)
5) Extra side middle button

I use a G500 right now, the only reason why is because of what xtremeblack said.

I Love the MX518. It's responsive and it glides nicely along my mouse pad. It's a nice mouse that has all you need for gaming. I really like the weight of it as well. I've never used the G500 so I cannot comment.
