$2000 Price Performance Build - Need Help - Page 2

Are all the components I chose compatible with each other?

I am currently looking at other RAM options.

Also what should I do about the Hard Drives if I get a c300 128gb. Keep my current WDC Black 640gb or buy something else that will perform better?

Everything is compatible, though I disagree with some of your choices..

Corsair Dominator memory is a bad choice. The G.Skill Pi's I linked to you very much outperform the Dominator's you linked for the same price. Purchasing the Dominator modules makes no sense. The Mushkin Redlines also perform better than the Dominators, and Mushkin is a far better manufacturer than Corsair.

Also if you can fit the Noctua NH-D14 in your case (not entirely sure if you would be able to or not) then it will outperform your H70 for not very much more. I generally don't like them as cooling options as there are much better air coolers instead.

You're also overpaying for fans in my opinion. The Gentle Typhoons are almost $20 each and have average airflow. Not a bad choice, though you must consider that you won't notice very much of a performance difference between case fans, so spending that much on case fans is just a bad investment in my opinion.

Thats all I really have to say. Yes it is all compatible do not worry about that. Good luck with your build!

Looks good.

If you wanted to get a full custom water loop you're looking at a little under $250 with a low budget, almost $500 for a high budget. Somewhere in between there.

Why don't you crossfire 6870s? They scale near perfect and pump some seriously good framerates. It's most likely going to outperform the 580.
