Im running 2x 5970's CF, they bench higher then 6970 from what ive seen, with the latest drivers theres no prob, i picked both of these up for the same price as the 6970s currently before 6970 was even out! Id just wait if you can til the next range of AMD cards come out, the 6970 is just a cheaper version of a 5970, side by side the 5970 is better in my opinion but what do i know.....

For eye infinity (3 screens). Should I add another 5970 after the 6990s come out or buy 6990 and a 6970/50? Tri fire or quad it with the 6990s, I know it depends alot on the 6990 when they come out assuming they are under clocked 6970/50. I'm little worried about the 1g cap on the ram on the 5970
