True, and it is only a matter of time before some congressman proposes this nonsense here. Then all our porn are belong to them

IT'S YOUR JOB, DO IT.

What's your religion or belief? So we can go ban all of there beliefs off the internet so YOUR kid doesn't get exposed.

Everytime the gov. takes a family's role into it's own hands or effects its decision making western civ. takes a step backwards imo. We need people to really get a grip and understand that 'doing nothing', letting the gov. pass any law, act or other change virtually unopposed by the populace isn't going to help for the future of sovereinty, it is already just a replection of power, one reflected by the media's mirror no less

That's a bit of a naive statement, it's not any better here especially now that the FCC is sticking their hands into the intertubes.

This is just a government attempting to regulate freedom of information.

Simple as that, V for Vendetta is something Europe needs right now.

Along with the U.S.

I like all the sheep saying "This is a good thing"

Might as well be saying "Control Us! Control Us!"

In case you haven't noticed....the media and the governments aren't exactly being very honest with us. Sure it's just porn now, but what happens when the Government decides you shouldn't have access to Wikileaks. How about a Science site?

You start with Porn, cuz all the sheep and religious nuts will say "PROTECT OUR KIDS".....and people will bite that baited hook. Then it's "PROTECT OUR CITIZENS"...and Bam!....Guess what....you lose net neutrality under the guise of protecting people when in fact you just signed over the only resource for information not tainted by governments/corporations.

There are MANY....yes MANY options to keep your children away from suggestive materials. TV's have ratings and V-Chip, Internets have blocklists and firewalls....

The only reason you have for being happy about this as a parent-

You don't have to do your job as a parent or take interest in your child's life, you can just hope the government will hide everything they think is dangerous to you or your child and you can go about being oblivious to the world and basic freedoms.

Why do Governments always insist on regulating pornography "for the children?" Let us raise our own kids, thanks.

Rule 34: If it exists, there is porn of it somewhere on the Internet. No exceptions.
