i wanted to build an i7 rig after january and make it red colored theme. But the mobo that is below is what i also like... Here is the mobo. But i dont see any where that they are selling it.... Gigabyte-X58-UD5P.jpg

I forgot how big it was. It's at least a good 1" wider than my P6T. Too bad it doesn't fit

That's the first version of the X58-UD5... was replaced by the X58A-UD5

just to push this up again, as i just got done buying all kinds of furniture and my 8' by 3' pc table (which i still have to put up) and its getting around christmas.... would a asus sabertooth or something in the lower segment be a lot of sacrifice ? just looking to go around the 200 mark after all now furniture in the usa is expensive as $H17 see what i did thur ? /// shoot me some boards in here that are worthy alternatives sub 240 real quick so i can order be4 christmas...

How about this EVGA offering? It's only got a two-year warranty, but it should be solid enough for you.

Also, have you considered going with a micro ATX form factor? They tend to be a bit cheaper, though your expansion slot options may be somewhat limited.

its nice and warm down here

and yeah, m atx or regular atx dont matter to me, and the board you linked is my first pick so far... i had the sli le before and evga wasnt the best supportive bunch of a mobo manufacturer, but id chance it as i wont be Wc ing the board this time xD

some more intakes on the sli 3 ?
