Samsung P2350 white screen. HELP!

My monitor is a year old. sometimes i get white screen with faint colored lines for a second when i turn on the monitor or quit or alt+tab games(cs 1.6). it happens even after the DVI cable in unplugged. heres he video showing it.

Well I had similar problem long time ago with lcd monitor after i would turn on the lcd monitor there would be bright white color all over the screen for sec after year of use monitor stop working for me.
Have you try with different dvi cable or maybe hook it up using VGA cable ? see if that solves the problem
if the problem still exist it could be internal blacklight problem I'm guessing.

thnx man!..ok ill check with different cable. can you explain me the reason of this problem? anything to do with voltage?

I really don't know what cause this sort of problem it could be anything. blacklight dieing or defective, If there is voltage up down in your house often that might cause to short circuit something inside monitor if you do not have some sort of protection for it.
btw Is the AC Adapter build in to the monitor or its separate power Brick? maybe changing AC adapter might fix it.

i have a belkin surge protector connected to mains and a APC RS 1000VA UPS connected to belkin. so i dont think I've to worry about voltage. i have mailed to Samsung as well. waiting for their reply.
