Thanks guys, keep the advice/opinions coming.
I'm with you lightsout, I want to know if Microcenter will still have a deal.

If building right now, wait sandy bridge. Ele, wait ivy bridge.

I'm probably gonna move to Ivy Bridge, unless Bulldozer is out and offering great performance compared to intel CPUs.

I'm definitely not waiting for Ivy Bridge lmao.
As I said, This rig is about to be sold, so I'll be custom PC-less until my new build, which means no BC:Vietnam.
I want to wait but I'm impatient. And money is a factor here for me. I wish we knew for sure what the prices would be.

Oh if your gonna sell that rig why go 950? Don't the 920's clock better. Everything I read is thta if your on socket 1366 don't bother with 1155.

Sandy will probably perform 10-15% faster clock per clock which you will notice over 4Ghz with both chips and unless you run 3 GPU which u cant with Sandy so no real advantage for now.

get the 950. chances are you wont even notice a difference between the 950 and the 2600k. im sure the new sb will be faster but honestly who really needs that much power?
to be quite honest i dont notice much of a difference between my old q9300 and my new i7-860 except when im encoding video, thats the only time i notice a difference.(and btw the 860 encodes atleast 2x fast as the q9300 when overclocked)

like others have said the price is right for the 950 i would go for it. 200$ is a great price. id do it myself if i hadnt already went the p55 route.
