Ok cool. I'll never use all 8 gigs but it was so cheap why not. I'd love to get 6 gigs of some nice 2000 MHz stuff but I'm pretty sure I wouldn't even notice it.

Can someone please explain what memory you should be getting when OC'ing one of these new processors? Do you not need the higher frequency's because the clock on your CPU cant be changed?

P67 supports up to ddr3 2200 so you should get atleast 4gb of the fastest memory you can afford. Newegg has 4gb of ddr3 2000 for 74.99 and ddr3 2250 for 114.99

Wait until Sandy Bridge is revealed, see how it performs, how it affects pricing, then make your decision.

Chipsets allow for a wide range in dividers, all based upon your bclk.

Since the bclk is locked on all the new 1155's, you'll have a preformed set of options.

Go with the best ram you can afford. Fast, with tight timings is preferred.
