Ive been running orthos for 8 and a half hours and then stopped it for a second and to see if it has said any errors, none and started it back up before temps could even lower a degree. And has been running for another hour since, no problems at all so i think i found da sweet spot. I will have to check the ram temp every once in a while cus it scares me with u sayin it could overheat at what it is running.
I will continue to let it run as it is 12:03 here and will be going to bed shortly so its gonna run overnight and i am actually going somewhere first thing in the morning until around 4-5pm so it will run till i get back. It isnt often i get a chance to let it run that long without it interferring. It will have run a total of 16 hours unstopped and if you account for the 8 hours previous that i stopped for litteraly one second it will have run for a full 24+ hrs.
So hopefully then it should be all good.
I know a 24hr test is what is needed to declare it 24/7 approved but i will never run it for that long at max temp ever unless i am doing some stress test. As i the only other thing that could really put that much strain on it is a game and i dont have the time ever to play more than 4 hours when i do get the chance. So do i really need that long of a stress test?
As for now i will leave it at 3.56ghz and enjoy its increase in performance from a measly 2.7ghz
running idle at 25C and max temp at 45C
Oh by the way, how are my temps for stock air cooling at the overclock?
Good, bad, average?
Thanks for the help all!
Edit: Oops sorry its not at 3.56, it is at:
