P7P55D-E LX. No display

I put together my system yesterday and when I went to boot up for the first time there was no display. When I remove my graphics card there are no beeps (my system speaker works tho). I also tried another graphics card but to no avail. Is my mobo defective?

Stupid question, you are plugging it into the top PCI-E port. As well as attaching any power connectors.

Yeah I plugged in the two PCI-E power connectors and it's in the top slot. My card is not defective, I used it in my brother's computer and it works properly. It's probably an issue with my mobo right?

Yup. My CPU is in (i5). If it helps, the PSU is a TX650 from corsair.

Did you check properly if the 24pin is connected to the mobo?
Sometimes with modern mobo there is also another power connector for the motherboard

The 24 pin power connector and the 8 pin power connector are both plugged in. By the way, all the fans spin.

Are you sure there is good contact between all the pins of the PCIe 2.x plug and the video card?
Can you even access the bios with your monitor? Or there is no display at all?

There isn't any display at all, even if I switch out my card with an old radeon hd 3650 which requires no PCI express power connectors.
