Opinions on HAF 932 AMD Limited Edition

So I put up a wanted ad in my local craigslist for a massive full tower case since I was hoping to get one of those old gigantic server towers and have some fun modding it and then a guy sent me an email and said he had this for only $100 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811119212

He said it was practically new and has all the accessories. I'm hoping to get some opinions from the guys who own this or something similar. The amount of drive bays alone makes me want it and the only modding I would probably do to this one is paint the inside and find a way to mount my two rads (1 x 360mm and 1 x 240mm) I would love the extra space for my water cooling gear. How is the cable management?

I had the regular HAF and loved it. As far as size, room and accessibility the case is great. The only issue Ihave is the dragon on thw window but a clear side panel can be bought for $20. The air flow is better than my current 800d and I had a custom loop with space to spare. I say $100 is a good buy

So I told him I would pay $85 today and he text me back and said ok real easily. I don't know maybe he just wants to get rid of it. I'm a bit skeptical now since he flexed on the price so easily.

Look I have 2 of them... 100 bucks is a great deal..

They are just like the 932 HAF but without the option of putting extra fans in the door.

On my sig rig when I was trying to do some serious WU on Boinc and do some folding I bought a HAF Black OEM door to install 4 more Scythe Kaze 3000rpm fans...
<btw having 11 Scythe kaze 3000 fans in your HAF is awesome but one of the loudest things your can do and I promise it will piss your wife off,> thus i had to switch to some smaller 1000 or 2000rpm fans that put out hardly any noise.. but i digress.......

For the price you cant beat a AMD Ed. HAF.... the room and the options are endless.. the only thing better in my book is the corsair but your going to pay out the nose for that and most people dont fill it up so why pay extra for space in the drive areas your not going to use...

Also if you have some LEDs, fans or a watercooling loop the window is awesome to show off your sweet stuff....

josh

btw ive put server boards and regular boards in it and it always amazes me on the fit and room i have to hook things up and run wiring

So I bought it earlier for the agreed on price of $85. It's brand new! Never used and not just cause the guy told me it is literally brand new.

To top it off I'm buying an 80gb raptor from him tomorrow for only $30.

I can't get over how massive this case is compared to my mid size k62 which I thought was big. It's huge! I love the look on the outside but the quality is a little lacking I guess I'm a little spoiled by my lian li. I'm looking into someone to powder coat the inside of this beast. I'm thinking dark red what do you guys think? Even if the powder coating cost me $100 I'm still cutting even compared to ordering this thing off of new egg.

Congrats to your HAF932 AMD Limited Edition!

I have a regular 932 and love it.
As you said you are planning to setup 1x360 and 1x240 rads, I like to give you a heads up on various ways (with and without modding) to do the 2 rads internally (if that is what you wish).

Take a look at my post #5 and #7 in the following thread:
http://www.overclock.net/water-cooli...nternally.html

I am sure you will enjoy the 932!
