Turtle beach bought these for my xbox but works on my pc brillantly

Those look to be decent enough.

As already stated, if you want to take your sound experience up a notch then a combination of quality headphones and a clip-on mic would probably be more rewarding.

But stepping back down to the level of headsets, the Sennheiser pair that I use has decent sound. For example, I can hear the direction of origin of sounds in games where such a feature is available. I would imagine that the Plantronics headset is similar.

For music.... meh.

sound setup?

i have no soundcard.

only have a 2.1 speaker system (T3100)
