Yeah, and I don't want to buy a new one as these mice are already pretty expensive, and I hear different stories about them crapping out and I figure with my luck, I'll get a mouse like that or my mouse will reach that point soon after a year of owning it.

My original plan was the deathadder until I started hearing about all this precision stuff on the forums. I have no clue what's going to be good.
I keep looking at threads were everyone agrees that a specific mouse is awesome and flawless, and then later in another thread I hear a bunch of problems with the sensor or the durability or something else, and some of the threads where people are highly supportive of the mouse, it's by people who have owned it for a few days.

And then there's the xai owners that say the kone is crap, and vice versa.

*edit*
Alright, I think I'm going to spend the $135 and get the Xai with 3 years warranty. I guess if other people are getting the Xai and saying it's such an awesome mouse and that it works well with the 4HD/9HD mousepad, it'll be fine.
At least if it DOES mess up, I'll be able to replace it for the next 3 years ;D
By then I'll have a job and/or more money to get something else.

Hello,
I dont have Experience with the Kone, But I've the DA and the Xai.
in the term of ergonomic - the DA is WAY better, but the Xai not so far..
in term of performance I can feel that the Xai is more "accurate" and flawless feeling when fps'ing.
the DA also great, but not like the Xai.

the only thing that I can tell you is that NO MATTER WHAT YOU GONNA BUY - U'll NOT BE DISAPPOINTING.

Thanks for the input.
Okay, I'm going to do the amazon prime trial to get some free quick shipping and get it on like tuesday or wednesday. I'll be getting the mousepad later but that's alright.

Sweet, I took the 4HD mousepad out of my cart and put it back in, making sure that this time it is eligible for super saver shipping, and now I can get free 2 day shipping with the amazon prime trial for free and it's $127 instead of around $135.

Games i pretty much share you annoyance. You hear loads of good things about a mouse from people and their is always one who will say it doesnt track well or its broken. I am one of those. i bought a razer deathadder respawn and it was really bad compared to the original. I sent it back for refund. now apprently its due to firmware which i updated and i still had jittery issues. Thing only a hand full of people have this issue were a ton of people dont. Maybe their have been duff mice going around. I too am also pretty much thinking that the xai will be my next mouse.

to be honest, I think you are just unlucky, my DA works very well with the new firmware/hardware and the jitter problem has fixed by avago/razer through.

I may get the xai though. You said it tracks better. Tracking is everything for me. The accel issues worry me though lol.
