Has BC2 had its lag/hitbox problems fixed?

I stopped playing because of that BS.
You're under fire, you go for cover, turn a corner of a building to cover yourself, and still you get shot and killed when you're actually covered by a wall (which didn't blow up or get shot through). It's so annoying...

That's just network lag, happens to me all the time.

I dont know when u stopped playing, but at some point they imported the hitbox kai hit registration from medal of honor. It really helped.

any game that simulates bullet travel has this so called problem. Which its not really a problem. The fact is that server registered you dead before you rounded that corner.

Games that do not simulate bullet travel such as call of duty do not has this problem when you press the mouse in call of duty invisible line comes out of the gun and travels instantly across the map it is in all places from the start of the gun barrel to where it stops, all at the same time, anything that intersects with that line a person, barrel whatever its instantly hit. There is no such thing as someone walking in front of you and getting shot instead of you getting shot. You dont lead targets in cod, you merely make sure your aim is on them. Thats why things seem smoother in cod, because it is cheating, bullets arent actually objects traveling through the world like they are in bad company 2.

In general bullets can travel through at least a wall or two before stopping. That is all dependent on the calibur of the bullet, how thick the walls are, and many other variables. Apparently realistic isn't appreciated?

It has nothing to do with realism. He's describing dying because the lag makes him think he got under bulletproof cover (like rocks, or concrete walls, which are bullet proof in this game) safely but in truth he got killed while running for it.

It's rather frustrating.
