Recommend 1000w PSU!

Ok so I need a power supply for my new rig and I was looking at the kingwin lazer (80 plus bronze) for $135, is that a good deal? Or is there a better option for a little more money?

I'm ordering today, so if I could get help that'd be great!

Stay away from Kingwin! Get a power supply from Antec, Corsair or Seasonic and you won't be dissappointed.

I agree stay far away from Kingwin, I had one blow up on me with a nice loud pop sound it took the motherboard with it.

You could get something like this Antec High Current Pro 1200w

Here is johnnyguru review

If the price is too high for that unit then I would go with anything from corsair, antec, or seasonic in that range

Also never ever ever ever go cheap on power supplies ever.

Enermax Revoultion85+ 1020W is a good deal. I highly doubt you need a 1000W PSU but hey, who knows.

If I got 2 gtx 580s (most likely won't get but still) what amount of wattage would be best.

Power

In all honesty, I have not been able to see more than a couple of percent at best difference when playing games between the GTX 580 SLI and the GTX 480 SLI. The 480 SLI system would pull about 715 watts at the wall under load, and the 580 SLI system would pull about 700 watts under the same condition. So there is really no power savings with GTX compared to GTX 480, but the GTX 580 is sure more efficient about its usage. -HardOCP

Probably a quality 850, I'd guess?

Wow! I'm most likely planning on buying one 570 for now, and just maybe one in the future. If I overclock a 950, will a quality 850 still be good enough?

How are Silverstone PSUs?

A quality 850W would be enough. That Kingwin Lazer 1KW is actually OK, its not top end but going by JG its not bad at all.

If you want a good 850W, Corsair AX850W, HX850W, XFX 850W Black Edition, Seasonic X Series 850W.

If you are running a single GTX570 it will be more than what you need and should also support SLI GTX570 later. Try the Antec Quattro 850W. I've had mine for years and it hasn't let me down ever.
