Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD3R VS ASUS Sabertooth. Which to get? Need to decide by tomorrow!!

Hello OCN, once again I have a slight problem. I don't know which one of these motherboard I am gonna get, and need to decide by tomorrow.

Well here they are:

Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD3R:
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showpr...=5&subcat=1692

Sabertooth:
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showpr...odid=MB-429-AS

Well I heard the gigabyte can run RAM up to 2200mhz but the sabertooth only up to 1866. Also the Gigabyte supports 3-way SLI (not that I'm gonna go that far). What is everyone's opinions about this guys? I plan on putting a 950 in one of these boards. I personally like the sabertooth asthetics more than the gigabyte. Which one would go the farthest as to OC the CPU/RAM? Thanks all, feel free to recommend other motherboards not more than 200 sterling and from OcUk if possible.

Thank you and a BIG happy xmas to all.

The Gigabyte most definitely. It was intended to compete with the Asus P6X58D-E board which the Asus Sabertooth was intended to be a step down from.

The Gigabyte will give you better overclocks. Though you probably won't notice toooo much of a difference. If you really don't like the Gigabyte color scheme the Sabertooth is still a good choice, the UD3R is just a better performing one.

And the Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD5? What does it have better than the UD3?
Better on board cooling and stronger voltage solution

for water and H20 the ud3r would be fine

if going cold the line starts at the ud5

UD5 also have a beautiful LED POST display to help with OCing woes. Features are the same though. Also the UD5 rev 2.0 and UD7 rev 2.0 are the same exact board, so you really are buying a board that is the competitor to the r3E series with the UD5, as some of the traces and NB should clock higher, from slightly better design. BUT the UD3R can do some amazing OCes.
